I am not particularly interested in popular pretty views, but through the use of light and colour committing on to my paper my feelings for the subject and developing my technique. Sometimes I paint in pastel which can be combined very successfully with watercolour.

I have studied with well known watercolourists - Moira Huntly, Ron Ranson, Alvaro Castagnet and John Blockley - the latter being my first and greatest inspiration.
